Located in Germantown, WI, this role reports into SCD, an Ellsworth Corporation company, and requires a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

Partners with sales, planning, operations, and procurement to understand customer demand and develop sourcing strategies to meet demand.

Monitors suppliers and service providers for quality and performance, responds to escalations of bottlenecks or problem areas, and proposes solutions and alternative products.

Drives collaboration with cross-functional and third-party teams to identify and implement continuous improvement actions and process improvement through system automation.

Develops, implements, and monitors annual strategic plans, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and supplier goals to improve delivery and service levels across the business.

Develops and maintains relationships with contacts at suppliers to facilitate prompt resolution of issues (expedites, sales, and customer service questions/concerns, customer specifications, product conformity, logistics, etc.).

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Chemistry, Biology or related field.

1+ years of supervisory experience.

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college in Supply Chain, Chemistry, or related field. Other equivalent combinations may be considered.

Professional certification in purchasing or supply chain management is desired (CPP, APICS, CCE).

Experienced leader with proven success in continuous improvement.

Ability to build strong supplier relationships and understand the entire supply chain within a commodity.

Ability to communicate the impact of supply disruptions upstream.

Ability to work independently with little to no guidance, including making decisions outside standard operating procedures.

Ability to learn in a fast‑paced environment and work within standard operating procedures, and relevant industry regulations and standards.

Ability to learn the Adhesive industry and products to provide recommendations for Sourcing and Supplier selection.

Proven attention to detail and accuracy and negotiating skills.

Proven ability to multitask.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Continuous Improvement experience desired (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Green Belt).

Advanced computer skills with MS Office applications, ERP, etc.

Travel‑up to 25%.
