Overview The Innovation & Commercialization Program Manager oversees multiple projects and programs from ideation to post‑launch audits, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and goals. The role establishes, maintains, and enforces decision‑making structures and PMO processes that keep projects running effectively and visible to all stakeholders. The Program Manager leads cross‑functional teams to execute projects in adherence to the stage‑gate process.
Detailed Roles & Responsibilities
Develop end‑to‑end detailed project plans and manage scope, schedule, and cost impacts.
Identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively.
Coordinate and lead project reviews with cross‑functional teams to ensure deliverables meet quality, cost, and time standards.
Ensure accurate and timely updates of specifications in the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system.
Provide clear project status updates, risk assessments, and timelines to key stakeholders.
Facilitate effective communication among team members to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the process.
Escalate risks or issues proactively with proposed mitigation plans.
Identify improvement opportunities to increase efficiency in PMO processes and project execution.
Support creation of PMO training documents for cross‑functional teams involved in the stage‑gate process.
Work Experiences
2‑5 years of experience in Project Management processes.
Clear understanding of the Stage‑Gate Process.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to manage change requests and scope creep.
MS Office literate, especially Office 365.
Proficient in MS Project and project documentation tools.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
Project management experience, preferably PMP certified.
Supervisory Responsibility No supervisory responsibility.
