Solomon Page
Our client, a global media company, is looking for a Sr. Accountant to join their team! This will be a fully onsite role working out of their office in Hollywood. The successful candidate will be self‑motivated, have advanced analytical skills, and possess the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines. Please no corp‑to‑corp applicants or third‑party agencies. Sub‑contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.
Role Overview
Contract role: 5 months, possible extension
Pay: $45–65/hr on W2
Schedule: Fully onsite M‑F 9 am to 6 pm
Responsibilities
Preparing month‑end close financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.)
Preparing journal entries
Performing balance‑sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
Ensuring compliance with external audit standards and internal controls
Establishing revenue recognition criteria under ASC 606
Preparing and submitting quarterly financial disclosures
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master of Accountancy preferred
CPA certification is a plus
3–5+ years of corporate accounting experience, ideally within media, entertainment, or streaming industries
Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
Experience using SAP or Oracle preferred
