Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a full charge bookkeeper. This role is located in Coral Springs, FL. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills, while remaining flexible and easily adaptable to changing priorities. The role also requires a candidate that has experience in the public accounting industry, working with a variety of clients and industries, as well as the tax seasons. Our firm prides itself in maintaining a true work/life balance, with keeping the extended work hours during busy season as minimal as possible.

Responsibilities

Monthly and/or quarterly accounting services including but not limited to, entering and reconciling bank and credit cards, confirming balance sheet balances, and tie out payroll and other income statement items.

Annual accounting services including reconciliation of year-end balances in order to accurately prepare the necessary tax return(s).

Preparation of quarterly payroll tax returns, and annual payroll tax filings.

Monthly and/or quarterly payroll tax deposits

Monthly and/or Annual Sales Tax Return filings

Preparation of tangible tax returns and annual Form 1099 filings.

Preparation of Compilation Engagements.

Regular client communications both verbal and written, and maintaining superior client service.

Self Management of tasks in tax tracking software (CCH Workflow) including: staffing assignments, managing deliverables, extensions, etc.

Respond to client inquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner, both in person and via phone or email.

Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management.

Experience & Education

Accounting Experience: 4+ years in accounting and tax-related role(s).

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is a plus

Strong knowledge and experience using QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite.

Preparation of federal income tax returns including but not limited to Forms 1040, 1120S, 1065, and 1041 is a plus.

QuickBooks Pro Advisor Certification is a plus
