Position Overview
The Manufacturing Financial Analyst supports day‑to‑day financial and operational processes within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Inventory Control, and Accounting to ensure accurate costing, inventory integrity, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, eager to learn manufacturing finance, and comfortable working with data, systems, and cross‑functional teams.
Description Salary:
$60,000 – $65,000
Location:
Henderson, NV (fully onsite)
Key Responsibilities
Weekly review of core manufacturing and inventory processes, including cycle counts, inventory adjustment approvals, and procedural compliance
Support Bill of Materials (BOM) costing and cost roll‑ups for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Ensure BOMs are up to date and set to proper cost
Process and review finished goods (FG) invoicing to ensure accurate costing and financial posting
Assist with Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory identification, tracking, and disposal analysis
Generate and distribute weekly manufacturing variance reports (labor, material, overhead, usage)
Run and maintain monthly manufacturing and inventory reports
Perform inventory reconciliations between operational systems and the general ledger
Support third‑party / contract manufacturing material tracking, including inventory ownership, usage, and reconciliation
Assist during internal and external audits, including inventory testing, documentation, and reconciliations
Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field)
No experience required; 1–2 years of experience preferred; manufacturing or inventory exposure a plus but not required
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas)
Ability to work cross‑functionally with Operations, Accounting, and Supply Chain
Willingness to learn ERP systems (e.g., Sage X3, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
Exposure to manufacturing environments (WIP, BOMs, standard costing)
Experience with inventory controls, cycle counts, or variance analysis
Familiarity with ERP systems or BI/reporting tools (Power BI a plus)
Exposure to supply chain operations
