Overview
GMA is adding an Architect or Architectural Project Manager to our Austin team of construction experts. As part of a top ENR design‑build firm, you will deliver creative design, project management, ADA/code compliance, building assessment and reuse, historic preservation, master planning, interior design, space planning, structural analysis and construction administration.
Responsibilities
Produce architectural documents for permit submittal and construction. Develop preliminary designs into construction documents. Review and coordinate construction documents with the project manager and consultants. Provide site and space planning for construction managers. Review building codes, local zoning, and park covenants. Prepare presentation drawings (colored site plans and elevations). Attend client meetings and coordinate with structural, electrical, and civil engineers. Review project scope with construction project managers. Qualifications
5‑10 years of experience. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (3D rendering experience preferred). Licensure is a plus, but not required; GMA supports licensure pursuit. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture. Recent work samples required with application. In‑office position. Benefits
