Minimum of 1 year recent Med Surg and/or Orthopedic nursing experience preferred
BLS required
ACLS preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
Provide post‑operative and orthopedic nursing care, including joint replacement recovery
Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed
Monitor vital signs, pain levels, wound status, and neurovascular integrity
Assist with patient mobility, ambulation, and use of assistive devices
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, mobility restrictions, and discharge instructions
Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
Identify and respond to changes in patient condition and elevate as needed
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines
