Job Information Job Title: Repair Technician – Mechanical & Technical Equipment

Job Summary: Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy working with your hands to solve problems? Join our team as a Repair Technician, where your skills will be put to work diagnosing, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining specialized healthcare equipment. You'll play a critical role in ensuring devices are safe, functional, and meet both manufacturer and company standards. In the State of CO this position pays between $21/hr – $22/hr depending on related experience.

What You'll Do

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electronic issues in healthcare devices

Calibrating equipment to precise specifications using manufacturer guidelines

Maintaining tools and testing equipment to ensure accurate repairs

Documenting work including parts used, labor, calibration results, and device status

Troubleshooting equipment and providing technical support to other teams

Keeping your workspace clean and organized, and disinfecting equipment regularly

Staying current with manufacturer certifications and training

Managing inventory through cycle counts and physical movement of devices

Collaborating with manufacturers to ensure software and calibration procedures are up to date

What We’re Looking For

Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on experience with tools and equipment

Ability to read and follow technical manuals and schematics

Detail‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving skills

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Willingness to complete manufacturer training and certification programs

Employment Requirements

Successful completion of a background check (required company‑wide)

Drug screening, if applicable to the position

A valid driver's license with a clean driving record, if driving is part of the role

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred

Hands‑on experience with medical or mechanical equipment

At least one year of related work experience in repair, maintenance, or technical support

Skills & Competencies

Assess whether repairs are feasible based on manufacturer guidelines

Use electronic meters to evaluate electrical systems

Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Interpret technical documents and instructions

Handle sensitive information with discretion

Stay organized, manage time well, and solve problems independently

Work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Tools & Technology – You’ll Be Working With

Oxygen analyzers and flow meters

Hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drill drivers, and crimpers

Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Standard office equipment (fax, copier, printer, phone, computer/tablet)

Email and internet for communication and research

Physical Requirements

Lifting up to 60 lbs as needed

Loading and unloading equipment

Regular use of hand tools

Sitting, standing, walking, talking, and listening throughout the day

Close‑up work with small print on screens and paperwork
