We are looking for an

Instrumentation Technician

to join our

Indianapolis, IN

team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of process instrumentation for capital projects, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector. Managing all aspects of instrumentation logistics, procurement, warehousing to tagging, shipping/receiving, and commissioning documentation. Ensuring the correct instrumentation is delivered to construction site on time and in alignment with Supporting Instrument Service Provider (ISP) project requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Support the receiving, unloading, and accurate documentation of process instrumentation.

Collaborate with ISP Project Leads to set priorities and track instrumentation status; attend client meetings.

Handle instrumentation logistics unpacking, inspecting, storing, and updating database records using manual or powered equipment.

Coordinate routine and urgent shipments of high‑priority instrumentation with shipping partners.

Complete commissioning documentation in compliance with GDP and cGMP standards.

Prepare turnover packages with warranties, data sheets, and certifications.

Generate and apply unique tags using computer‑based labeling systems.

Resolve instrumentation issues & damage claims with vendors and Manager of Instrumentation Services.

Manage transportation logistics, including packing and preparing bills of lading.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Support all tasks across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s in engineering or a related technical field.

Up to 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device industries; knowledge of FDA regulations at plus.

Familiarity with process instrumentation (level, flow, pressure, temperature sensors, valves, accessories).

Previous warehouse experience and ability to lift 75lbs or more.

Willing to operate or be trained to use hand trucks and forklifts.

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and presentation skills; team‑oriented and accountable.

Thrives in high‑pressure environments; self‑motivated and results‑driven.

Highly organized with proficiency in MS Office tools.

This position requires direct employment. We do not consider C2C (Corp‑to‑Corp) or 1099 contract arrangements.
