Candidate must have a strong expertise in all of the standard ITSM functions and how they function in ServiceNow, including, but not limited to: Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Request Management, CMD and Service Level Management. Special Skills: Requires both an ITIL Certification and ServiceNow Certification. The Application Analyst Lead provides expertise in technical application support for complex clinical and/or business applications to improve overall performance and meet organizational needs. This role leads application administration, organizing team resources to gather, analyze, evaluate user needs and implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting clinical and/or business applications.
Essential Job Function
Coordinates, prioritizes, and assigns tasks to meet team deadlines, manages work plans and status updates, and determines escalation necessary to manager; leads work groups and provides management, coordination, and communication across teams.
Provides experience and expertise to ensure all aspects of the application integrate with other cross‑functional applications utilized by the organization.
Assists in leading and managing projects and/or project tasks.
Collaborates with internal and external technical and end‑user groups to ensure applications and third‑party systems meet clinical and business needs during build and implementation.
Performs expert‑level consulting, system administration, and analysis of end‑user workflows, data collection, report details, and technical issues related to design and build decisions.
Understands and translates business/clinical functionality into system configuration and workflow validations.
Plans, prepares, and executes test scripts for application testing, new‑release testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Documents test results, design, change control, system problems, and internal procedures according to departmental standards.
Provides technical application support, triage, and troubleshooting for complex applications.
Monitors systems for data quality, efficiency, operation, and integrity, and escalates issues/problems appropriately.
Maintains knowledge of new technical concepts and solutions applicable to healthcare.
Assists with implementation and support of third‑party systems.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in relevant field
Experience
Required: 5 years
Licensure/Certification/Listing
Required: If applicable, platform‑centric certification required.
