Our
Data Team
plays a transversal and fundamental role: we measure the impact of our initiatives and turn insights into strategies that shape both product and business decisions. As part of the Data Team, we are looking for someone who wants to be
deeply involved in the business , collaborating with multiple teams to make data a real driver of change. You’ll act as the
bridge between data and decision-making , ensuring that metrics, dashboards, and insights actually lead to action. The role reports directly to the Global Head of Customer Success, with a direct impact across the 9 countries where we operate, and close collaboration with C-level executives and other company leaders — including Product, Tech, and Research. This is not a purely technical role — it’s a
business position with a technical aproach.
We’re looking for an analytical mind with curiosity, logic, and passion for learning, not just someone who executes tasks. Our current BI stack uses
Amazon Redshift
and
dbt
with
Metabase . We are in the process of pivoting our data infrastructure to
Databricks , so familiarity with these technologies—or the willingness to quickly learn them—will be highly valued. Your mission will be to understand the factors influencing our product implementation and commercial success, identify the indicators that predict outcomes, and ensure the whole organization uses data intelligently to iterate fast and build what truly matters. Your Daily Life
Learn deeply about our educational products, operations, and metrics — becoming an expert in both the
data landscape
and the
business context of Innovamat . Partner with Product, Revenue, Customer Success, and Research teams to
define KPIs , design analyses, and inform strategic decisions. Own and maintain all company dashboards and key metrics , ensuring they are accurate, intuitive, and aligned with business priorities. Enable and train colleagues
to use analytics tools effectively; collect feedback and iterate to make data more accessible. Coordinate with Data Engineers
to prioritize and push improvements to the
data mart
and
gold tables , ensuring infrastructure supports decision-making. Proactively
propose questions, design analyses, and experiments
— not just execute requests, but help shape what we should be asking. Build dashboards, reports, and models using
SQL ,
Python/R , and spreadsheets to empower
self-service analytics . Analyze usage, sales, and learning data; interpret and communicate findings clearly and actionably. Collaborate in research or data projects such as
surveys, A/B tests, or interviews , managing data collection and participant communication. Present findings through
presentations, memos, or workshops , and contribute to external communications when relevant. Stay curious: follow data best practices, new methods, and the edtech landscape — always learning and bringing fresh ideas. What We Are Looking For in You
Analytical and logical thinker
with a strong learning mindset — experience matters less than curiosity and intelligence. SQL and programming skills
(Python, R, or similar) — you can write queries, think algorithmically, and enjoy solving technical challenges. Proficiency with generative
AI tools : You have experience with, or are keen to work with, large language models (like ChatGPT or similar). You understand how these tools can accelerate analysis, generate insights, and support the creation of internal tools. Excellent
communication skills
— you can explain complex ideas simply and adapt to non-technical audiences. Proactive and autonomous
— you ask “why,” not just “how,” and take initiative to make things better. Passion for
education , our
mission , and a genuine desire to help others learn. You enjoy
maths, logic, and problem-solving
— puzzles excite you, not scare you. Fluent in
Spanish and English
(Catalan is a plus). Nice to Have
1–3 years of experience in
data analytics ,
business intelligence , or similar roles (ideally in SaaS or EdTech). Experience with
experimentation ,
A/B testing , or
mixed-methods research . Understanding of
data engineering concepts , cloud databases, and ETL pipelines. Knowledge of business operations and metrics in Edtech, SaaS or Customer Success contexts. A balance between technical accuracy and business vision — you’re an
engineer at heart but a strategist in spirit . Our culture and values defines who we are and how we work. We believe that how we do things matters just as much as what we do. We know this isn’t the right place for everyone —and that’s okay. Here’s what you can expect when joining our team: We aim high:
We set ambitious goals and work to high standards. We’re driven by the conviction that improving education is a game changer —and we’re here to take it on with determination and passion. Here, you’ll be able to grow as much as you want! We are owners:
From day one, you’ll take real responsibility and have real impact. We make thoughtful decisions, take initiative, and turn ideas into action —you’ll feel trusted to lead projects, make decisions, and watch your ideas come to life. We move fast:
We work in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment where speed and adaptability make the difference. Things move fast —and so do we. You’ll feel the pace, the energy, and the thrill of learning and acting quickly to make things happen. We are eager to learn:
Our team is made up of curious, motivated people who challenge themselves —and each other— to grow. We value those who approach every challenge as a learning opportunity and bring a positive, solution-oriented mindset, because here, every day is a chance to learn something new and share it with others. We are humble:
We’re guided by feedback and collaboration. We listen actively, learn from one another, and value ideas for their impact —not for who they come from. You’ll find teammates who boost you up, challenge you kindly, and celebrate wins as a team. We enjoy the ride:
Our impact depends on the people who make it possible. We’re an international, passionate team that thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where intensity and purpose go hand in hand. We believe that a strong culture of trust, flexibility, and care is what makes our impact sustainable. We take care of our people so they can take care of our mission —offering flexible working hours, time off during the Christmas break, and flexible compensation options. And of course, we make space to reconnect and recharge through team-building days that bring us closer and remind us why we do what we do. If you think you are that person we are looking for
we would love to meet you!
