We are looking for you to join our team as a Principal Hardware Configuration Analyst based out of Linthicum, MD and will require 100% on‑site work. What You’ll Get To Do

Review contracts to determine documentation required for each phase of the project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Conduct CCB leadership including change impact expertise. Coordinate modification records for management control, establishing change orders and preparing for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Review and analyze engineering change data and coordinate and facilitate reviews of changes with program functional stakeholders (e.g., program management engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, etc.). Provide hardware configuration management (CM) expertise and guidance on programs. Participate in providing input to policies and procedures that govern configuration management related processes, collaborating with stakeholders to identify and pursue configuration management process improvement based on industry and company standards. Prepare and maintain program plans that define how configuration management will be accomplished on multiple military, strategic and commercial programs that require it. Provide expertise and CM solutions in meeting customers’ and company objectives. Support internal and external audits (CMMI). This position is contingent upon contract award and the successful transfer of a DoD Secret Clearance. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience, Master’s degree with 3 years of experience, Ph.D. with 1 year of experience in configuration management or related discipline fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. U.S. citizenship is required. A current/active DoD Secret clearance. Experience following CM standards, documented rules, and guidelines to ensure technical content meets internal and customer requirements. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degrees in configuration management or other related disciplines. Active DoD Top Secret clearance or higher. Organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Working knowledge and understanding of engineering documentation (i.e., models, drawings, specifications, parts, change notices). Knowledge or demonstrated experience with configuration management tools for hardware configuration. Primary level salary range: $89,900.00 – $134,900.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, we consider a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for long‑term incentives.
