The Opportunity CACI’s Enterprise IT (EIT) Sector is seeking a skilled Voice Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our voice, cloud and virtualization infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining voice solutions to support our mission-critical applications and services. This role requires both strategic planning and hands‑on technical expertise to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and secure voice solutions aligned to site survey, design and implementation activities. You’ll contribute to delivering high-performance, secure and modern voice network solutions that enhance mission readiness across Army CONUS locations. Responsibilities

Design and architect voice communication systems, including VoIP, PBX, and unified communications platforms

Develop detailed system specifications, diagrams, and documentation to guide implementation and maintenance

Ensure voice systems align with organizational standards, policies, and industry best practices

Integrate voice systems with other IT infrastructure components, such as network, security, and data systems

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of voice systems with existing technologies

Evaluate and recommend new voice technologies and solutions to enhance system performance and capabilities

Oversee the implementation and deployment of voice systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to execute system deployments

Conduct testing and validation of voice systems to ensure functionality and reliability

Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance voice communication quality and reliability

Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides

Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, secure buy‑in, and ensure voice systems align with business objectives

Facilitate communication between IT teams, project managers, and other relevant parties

Optimize resource utilization and implement scaling strategies to meet changing demands

Maintain accurate documentation of virtualization configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps

Prepare reports on system performance, issues, and recommendations for improvement

Troubleshoot complex problems and work with cross‑functional teams to resolve incidents

Provides daily supervision and direction to staff

Qualifications Required:

US citizen with ability to obtain Secret security clearance

Technical BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications or a related field or study plus 10 years in voice system architecture, design, and implementation (HS diploma + 15+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree)

Certified Voice Engineer (CVE) or equivalent

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent

Certified Unified Communications Professional (CUCP) or equivalent

In‑depth knowledge of voice communication technologies (e.g., VoIP, SIP, PBX)

Strong understanding of systems architecture principles and practices

Proficiency in network protocols, security, and IT infrastructure

Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Desired:

Active Top Secret security clearance

Experience in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment

Pay Range The proposed salary range for this position is $108,900 - $239,500?
