Required Skills
Proficiency in Bash scripting and Python.
Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Unix background with experience supporting containerized applications (Podman, Docker, Openshift, or Kubernetes).
Understanding of storage and data replication platforms: CEPH, Ozone, HDFS.
Strong understanding of Unix/Linux principles and security.
Drive data visualization and analytics initiatives using Tableau, Grafana, and Apache superset.
DevOps Practices.
In-depth knowledge of relational databases Postgres.
Experience with Hadoop.
Desired Skills
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Working experience on UNIX Application Environments: Redis, Containers, Postgres, and Python web app.
Track record of maintaining large scale Python based systems.
Knowledge of Teradata.
Experience developing or customizing Tableau reports.
Primary Responsibilities
Observe and support application components and related infrastructure, acting as the first point of contact to troubleshoot and respond to alerts regarding potential production issues.
Interpret and monitor dashboards, tools, and reports to proactively identify and address potential issues prior to production impact, escalating issues.
Implement, monitor, and improve DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines and streamline software delivery.
Administer Linux servers for hosting applications, ensuring system security, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to align technical solutions with technical needs.
Knowledge of automation / DevOps tools – Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket.
Develop dashboards with Grafana to monitor real time logs, server health check etc.
