Key Responsibilities
Lead or manage multiple processes, solutions, and projects, ensuring quality and risk‑management.
Drive continuous process improvement and identify innovative solutions through research and best practices.
Supervise professional employees or teams to deliver complex technical initiatives, guiding others and interpreting internal/external issues.
Design, architect, and present data solutions, leading junior members and collaborating with diverse clients.
Serve as a trusted advisor in digital transformation, influencing C‑level stakeholders and contributing to new business wins.
Skills and Attributes
Technical skills: Application integration, cloud computing architecture, data architecture design and modeling, data integration & quality, AI/Agentic AI driven data operations.
Experience delivering business use cases in Transmission/Distribution/Generation/Customer.
Trusted advisor to senior decision makers; engage with business leaders to shape goals and analytics needs.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Data Scientists, Business Analysts, IT) to define requirements, design solutions, and implement strategies.
Organize and lead workshops and design sessions with stakeholders.
Lead design and implementation of modern data architectures for transactional, operational, analytical, and AI solutions.
Mentor global data architecture teams, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Establish data governance policies, including security, quality, and lifecycle management.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data architecture and management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
8+ years professional consulting experience in industry or technology consulting.
8+ years hands‑on experience in architecting, designing, delivering or optimizing data lake solutions.
3+ years experience with native cloud products (Azure or GCP).
5+ years mentoring and leading teams of data architects and engineers.
In‑depth knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices.
Experience leading large teams to design and build complex platforms with diverse data flows.
Hands‑on experience designing end‑to‑end architectures and pipelines.
Proficiency in data modelling and architectural design patterns (Data Fabrics, Data Mesh, Lake Houses, Delta Lakes).
Management of complex data analysis, migration, and integration onto modern platforms.
Hands‑on coding skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
Design scalable data solutions with performance optimization.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps practices, and version control.
Practical understanding of data encryption, access control, security best practices.
Experience leading infrastructure and security engineers and architects.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Knowledge of data security, database management, enterprise data management, metadata management, ontology design, and systems design.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Electrical / Power Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related professional experience.
Experience at a Big‑4 firm or major utility.
Experience with cloud data platforms like Databricks.
Experience leading and influencing teams with a focus on mentorship.
