is seeking a
Mobile Crisis Director
to lead the continued development and implementation of a 24-hour mobile crisis response system for a community-based, non-profit, behavioral health organization in
southeastern New Mexico . This full-time role offers a
remote schedule
with
occasional on-site presence required
and oversight responsibilities for a team of clinical and peer crisis staff.
The Director will guide strategy, clinical operations, and community coordination across both in-person and remote components of the program. Candidates must hold a current New Mexico
LCSW or LPCC
and bring strong experience in behavioral health crisis services. Candidates open to On-Site work are eligible for Federal and State Loan Forgiveness!
LCSW, LPCC, Mobile Crisis Director Responsibilities Oversee the 24-hour mobile crisis program Manage clinicians, peer support, and support staff Provide Clinical Supervision Manage strategic planning and staffing Ensure protocols, and response procedures Ensure clinical quality, documentation compliance, and team coordination Develop and maintain partnerships with law enforcement, EMS, and community providers Hire, supervise, and support staff across multiple shift models Participate in funding discussions, operational reviews, and agency-wide leadership
LCSW, LPCC, Mobile Crisis Director Requirements Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling Active
New Mexico LCSW or LPCC license
(required) At least 3–5 years of leadership experience in crisis services or behavioral health systems Strong understanding of trauma-informed crisis response, risk assessment, and community care coordination Must be able to provide
some on-site responsibilities Must pass CYFD and criminal background checks Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, not required
LCSW, LPCC, Hybrid Mobile Crisis Director Compensation $137,000 annual salary Full-time, benefit-eligible position (medical, dental, vision) 403(b) with 7% employer contribution 13 paid holidays + generous PTO Paid CEUs and training Eligible for federal and state loan forgiveness programs, if working on-site
