is dedicated to delivering exceptional automotive service with integrity and care. We’re looking for a Service Advisor in Deerfield, IL who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, values teamwork, and is passionate about creating memorable customer experiences.
Position Overview As a Service Advisor, you will be the face of our shop—greeting customers, managing service workflow, and ensuring every customer leaves confident in our work. You’ll collaborate closely with technicians and the Service Manager to run operations smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Warmly greet customers and be available in the waiting area to assist.
Sell services and parts with confidence and clarity.
Answer incoming calls promptly (within 3 rings).
Tag and track vehicles; enter customer and vehicle data into Protractor software.
Manage workflow stages and maintain clear notes on work orders.
Assign work orders based on technician availability and skill.
Communicate effectively with technicians, fellow advisors, and the Service Manager.
Review technician recommendations and build estimates for customer approval.
Receive parts into work orders and notify customers when vehicles are ready.
Arrange payment and vehicle delivery.
Perform road tests as needed.
Support shop operations with tasks such as shuttling customers, cleaning, or picking up parts.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
1+ year experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer‑facing role.
Proven sales experience (minimum 1 year).
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows and general computer use.
Fluent in English (verbal and written).
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Must be able to enter/exit various vehicles and drive with passengers.
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs without assistance.
Exposure to automotive shop conditions (noise, chemicals, weather, dust).
Use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, scanners).
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
Ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent reaching, bending, and lifting.
