– Position located at Westmoreland Place.
Hours:
08:00am to 04:30pm, 5 days a week with weekends included.
Responsibilities
Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units in resident rooms, recreational areas, etc. daily as instructed.
Wash and sanitize bathrooms in resident rooms and recreation areas daily as instructed.
Clean floors, including sweeping, mopping and disinfecting.
Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfection and deodorizing.
Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacles with plastic liners.
Clean vacant rooms as assigned.
Ensure work/assignment areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies are properly stored at all times, before leaving such areas for breaks, meals and at the end of the workday.
Perform isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures.
Work in all areas of the facility, interacting with residents, personnel, visitors, government agencies etc.; function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to work effectively with residents and personnel.
Candidate is subject to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Qualifications Seniority level: Entry level.
Employment type: Full‑time.
Background in housekeeping or a related field is preferred, but not required.
