About The Position The Client Service Officer III (CSO III) is an onsite role with no remote options. The CSO III assists clients in establishing deposit products and services—checking, savings, money‑market, CDs, online banking, remote deposit capture, and ACH services—in a prompt, courteous, efficient, and professional manner. Responsibilities include opening and closing accounts, renewing certificates, assisting with bookkeeping and account problems, teller functions (balancing daily transactions, verifying cash totals), answering product inquiries, maintaining accounts, cross‑selling bank products, performing signature verification, and other clerical duties. The CSO III may also serve as a backup for the Client Service Manager or Regional Branch Administrator, covering the branch and personnel as needed. All duties are performed accurately, timely, and in accordance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Self‑starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a team environment.
Some college or equivalent training. Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred.
Knowledge of banking and deposit operations and procedures, plus general office systems.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience in the financial services industry.
Good communication skills.
Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
Strong computer skills.
Good math skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
