Position Purpose The Multimedia Manager will bring Creature Comforts’ brand stories to life through compelling video and photography. This role is responsible for producing, shooting, and editing visual content that supports marketing campaigns, product launches, social media storytelling, merch promotion, and in-trade activations. As part of the Creative Team, the Multimedia Manager will ensure all content reflects the brand’s voice, values, and high creative standards while remaining distinct from design, strategy, and creative direction roles.
Duties & Responsibilities 1. Content Production
Plan and execute photo and video shoots, from concept through delivery.
Capture high-quality product, lifestyle, and event content that aligns with brand standards.
Direct talent, staff, or external partners during shoots to ensure authentic brand storytelling.
Edit and assemble final deliverables for campaigns, ensuring consistency in tone, pacing, and look.
Manage lighting, sound, and technical aspects on set to produce professional results.
2. Content Management & Delivery
Organize and maintain a digital asset library for easy access and reuse across teams.
Export and optimize content for various platforms (social, web, advertising, out-of-home, trade).
Maintain clear file naming conventions, metadata, and archival processes.
Ensure deliverables meet technical specs for digital ads, print vendors, and media partners.
Act as point person for version control and media file delivery.
3. Brand Storytelling Through Media
Translate brand campaigns, product stories, and activations into compelling visual narratives.
Capture behind-the-scenes and documentary-style content to highlight culture and community impact (Creature Features).
Collaborate with Creative Director to align visual storytelling with brand vision.
Partner with Digital Marketing Manager to adapt content for campaign objectives and audience.
Support in-trade marketing with content that helps retail and distributor partners bring the brand to life.
4. Quality & Innovation
Research and recommend new tools, gear, and techniques to enhance production quality.
Experiment with editing styles, motion graphics, and emerging media formats to keep content fresh.
Uphold brand consistency while pushing creative boundaries in photo and video work.
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all media aligns with Creature Comforts’ standards.
Stay current with cultural, digital, and visual trends that can inform content direction.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Photography, Communications, or related field—or equivalent professional experience.
3+ years of professional experience in photo and video production, including demonstrated editing skills.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop) or equivalent editing tools.
Strong technical knowledge of cameras, lighting, sound, and production equipment.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
Strong storytelling instincts with an eye for composition, pacing, and brand-aligned visuals.
Ability to work collaboratively across creative, design, and marketing teams while owning distinct areas of execution.
