Salary : USD $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Load, transport, and deliver automotive parts to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner.

Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Take and follow directions from dispatch, adhere to assigned routes, and use navigation apps or alternative routes as needed.

Assist with loading and unloading items without interfering with customer operations.

Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and professionally handle complaints.

Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.

Accept payments, prepare reports, reconcile payments, and handle related monetary transactions.

Perform daily maintenance checks on delivery vehicle and report issues.

Assist with store/warehouse duties such as stock and parts pulling as assigned.

Maintain and promote workplace safety.

Secure and transfer cash or other assets as required.

Qualifications

Current, valid driver’s license.

Must meet company insurance requirements (drivers 21 years old or over).

Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.

Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; collision drivers may need to lift up to 75 pounds.

Ability to manage and reconcile money transactions.

Ability to use a tablet or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, tracking, and customer interface/signature capture.

Exceptional customer communication skills with professionalism and diplomacy.

Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.

Flexible schedule with willingness to work overtime as needed (preferred).

Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.

All above requirements must be met to be eligible to drive for Parts Authority.
