provides a pay range of
$1,540
weekly minimum when on route. Specific pay is based on skills and experience; talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Position Purpose Food and food service delivery drivers play a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. They ensure customers’ products arrive on schedule and in good condition, building lasting relationships with customers.
Primary Responsibilities
Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and coworkers professionally.
Perform safety checks (pre/post‑trip) and inspections of tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations.
Report all safety hazards, repairs required, and issues to management.
Follow DOT and company safe‑driving guidelines.
Inspect trailer for proper loading and secure freight.
Count items and verify customer invoices at loading.
Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly.
Drive to and deliver customer orders according to the predetermined schedule.
Unload products, scan, and coordinate removal of orders per company policy.
Obtain proper signatures on deliveries and collect money when required.
Secure trailer doors and ensure all equipment is locked.
Perform general housekeeping in tractor, loading dock, and keep trailers clean.
Complete daily hours‑of‑service record per Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
Six (6) months commercial driving experience.
Valid CDL‑A license.
21+ years of age.
Meet all state licensing/certification requirements (if applicable).
Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
Pass road test.
Have or be able to obtain a current DOT Health Card.
Able to hand‑lift and use equipment to move and stack product cases (10–90 lbs).
