Roles & Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations
Conduct environmental audits, risk assessments, and site inspections
Prepare, manage, and submit permits and regulatory reports (e.g., air, water, waste, hazardous materials)
Develop and implement environmental policies, procedures, and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001).
Lead initiatives to reduce waste, improve resource efficiency, and support sustainability goals
Oversee environmental incident response, corrective actions, and remediation efforts
Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies on environmental matters
Provide training and guidance to staff on environmental practices and compliance
Track and report on environmental KPIs and performance metrics
Engage with stakeholders on environmental issues and corporate social responsibility
Maintain documentation and records to support audits and regulatory inquiries
Lead and mentor a team of environmental professionals
Perform other position related duties as assigned

Requirements Basic:
Minimum Age: 18 years old
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, or other related field
Extensive experience in environmental compliance, management systems, and sustainability
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Excellent communication, leadership and project management skills
Strong understanding of environmental laws, regulations and standards
Ability to analyze data, prepare reports and manage multiple projects simultaneously
While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
Preferred:
Professional certification (e.g. Certified Environmental Professional, CHMM)
Working Conditions:
Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work around the potential exposure to dust and chemicals
Ability to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job function
Ability to lift to 30 pounds
Compensation 99,500 - 141,700
Additional Compensation Information Salary within the posted range is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
