Job Description
SUMMARY:
Perform tasks related to mold repair and maintenance in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
Preventative maintenance of injection and compression molds.
Troubleshoot and repair molds to maintain operation efficiency.
Responsible for maintaining accurate and timely records of all tool repairs and changes.
Observe safe rigging and mold handling practices.
Must perform any other assigned duties.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Excellent attendance and good work history.
Score at least 65% on mechanical aptitude test.
Mechanic experience (formal/informal).
Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, climbing, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting/moving (up to 75 pounds with lifting/hoist/rigging equipment).
Able to provide or purchase own tools.
Able to work overtime as needed.
The starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $21.39; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience between $21.39 and $25.
