Hammond School
Hammond School is seeking an experienced and motivated part‑time Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach to lead our program for the 2026‑2027 school year. This coach will oversee the entire volleyball program from top to bottom, including scheduling, hiring and managing staff, organizing off‑season development, and setting the culture for the program. This is a stipend position with the ability to bring in your own staff, with additional stipends available. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to inspire student athletes, foster their love for the game and enhance their teamwork and leadership skills. This role allows you to contribute to a winning culture, drive competitive spirit, and promote sportsmanship in a vibrant educational environment.
Qualifications
A great teacher of the game
An excellent communicator
Highly knowledgeable at a high‑level of volleyball
Experienced in coaching at the high school/club level
A strong leader who can build relationships with players and families
Committed to developing a competitive, well‑run program
Compensation:
Stipend based on experience and qualifications
Hours:
Flexible afternoon hours
Reporting:
Volleyball Coach reports to the Athletic Director
