Immediate Opportunity – West Region Our West Region is looking for an experienced Marketing and Proposal Coordinator to join our Houston team. Prior experience submitting TxDOT proposals is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities The senior marketing coordinator demonstrates complete understanding of the proposal and procurement process and leads pursuit teams across multiple service lines. The role involves:
Reading RFQ/Proposals thoroughly and creating checklists that list client submission requirements and identify proposal team action items.
Managing CRM databases such as Microsoft Dynamics, Unanet (Cosential), or Deltek Vision.
Using Adobe InDesign for proposal design (experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred).
Mentoring junior marketing staff by providing recommendations and guidance.
Planning capture strategies during pre‑RFP phases and preparing required pursuit materials.
Handling administrative tasks for marketing managers.
Undergoing SF 330 / Architect‑Engineer Qualifications processes (preferred experience).
Advising technical staff on go/no‑go evaluations and determining effective proposal strategies.
Leading pursuit team kickoff calls to develop strategies, assign responsibilities, and set deadlines.
Collaborating with technical project managers and marketing content/support teams to develop comprehensive materials showcasing KCI’s strengths.
Preparing presentations and coaching technical teams for client interviews.
Tracking project leads and updating CRM data.
Maintaining accurate personnel and project records in the CRM.
Conducting background research and tailoring supporting materials.
Creating high‑impact graphics for proposals.
Providing quality‑control review of marketing peer proposals.
Printing, assembling, and shipping proposals, and preparing electronic submission files.
Coordinating with teaming partners and responding to external requests.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field (preferred).
Minimum of 5–9 years of relevant experience.
Pre‑employment drug screening and background check are required conditions of employment; motor vehicle checks may also be required.
