What You’ll Learn & Do
Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings to create roof and floor truss layouts.
Design roof and floor trusses using MiTek while learning best practices for accuracy, efficiency, and code compliance.
Apply 84 Components design standards, policies, and procedures to real‑world projects.
Select and specify required hardware and components to support safe, efficient construction.
Track projects from initial design through approval using organized job tracking systems.
Prepare and send customer approval letters under established procedures.
Collaborate with sales, production, and customer service teams to support project success.
Maintain clean, well‑organized plan files and documentation.
Participate in training, team meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
