The Opportunity :
WUCF seeks a Producer to join the Florida Road Trip team. Working with the program Executive Producer, this role will help shape the look and feel of the program through research, detail, curiosity, and a videographer’s eye for composition and lighting.
Classification Title: Broadcast Production Specialist I
Responsibilities
Shoot and edit on WUCF provided equipment.
Research and pitch stories that align with content strategies and goals.
Write and edit scripts under deadline.
Video edit content for broadcast and digital.
Support production in the studio and the field.
Collaborate with the team to create new programs and services to help further the WUCF mission and vision.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 0+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).
Preferred Qualifications
Production experience in an internship or professional setting, including recording and editing.
Experience with research and writing for film or television production.
Familiarity with Adobe software systems.
Experience in creating engaging digital content for various platforms.
Experience conducting or assisting with research at the college level.

Special Instructions to the Applicants This position will include some travel, including overnights and multiple days.
