This position will be part of the NFL Communications Department, playing a pivotal role in all media operations at NFL events and supporting the Football Communications group’s day-to-day activities in creating strategic football content that further drives the narrative of competitive excellence that is the hallmark of the NFL.
Responsibilities
Be a forward-thinking, innovative strategic football communicator, creating compelling content to drive media interest in the game, domestically and internationally.
Editorial responsibilities related to football content include writing, editing, fact-checking and proofing all content during the season, including on all NFL gamedays.
Work with a variety of stakeholders in a cross-organizational fashion to support media operations activities for NFL tentpole events, including Super Bowl, Pro Bowl Games, Combine, Draft and international games.
Play a key role in replicating the NFL’s best-in‑class media operations tactics in new markets and stadiums across the globe.
Coordinate with club communications staffs on media related activities around NFL tentpole events, including player media availabilities, league‑related initiatives and event day operations.
Responsible for researching media outlets and determining their legitimacy to receive accreditation to high‑profile NFL events, organize credential requests.
Assist with analysis, development and testing of SEMS (Special Events Management System), the league’s credential portal.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a Communications or related field
1-3 years of experience with a league, club or in a collegiate athletic communications role

Terms / Expected Hours of Work NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week. This position is 5 days a week based in the New York office.
Salary / Pay Range $70,000 - $80,000 USD
