Position Overview The Donor Experience Senior Associate assists the Director of Donor Experience with developing, executing, and evaluating comprehensive donor experience programs designed to inspire donors to the Wexner Medical Center units, including the OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center and College of Medicine. The role partners with development officers to cultivate donor stewardship and orchestrates engagement activities that move donors along the philanthropic continuum.

Duties and Responsibilities

55%

– Assist the Director with identifying, executing, and evaluating donor experience programs across multiple donor audiences and collaborate with leaders and peers to ensure success of engagements.

40%

– Partner with development officers to develop and execute annual stewardship plans, track engagement touchpoints, provide post‑engagement analysis, and act as the primary contact for donors and internal partners.

5%

– Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Two (2) years of professional experience in donor relations/stewardship or related development work.

Proficiency with MS Office.

Desired Qualifications

3+ years experience in development/donor relations.

Experience in higher education or healthcare fundraising.

Success in planning and implementing strategic engagement opportunities.

Experience with donor database and InDesign/conditional mail merge.
