A leading fashion and apparel brand is seeking a Tradeshow Sales Specialist to represent its latest collections at trade shows, apparel marts, and industry events. This contract role is perfect for individuals with a passion for fashion, strong sales skills, and the ability to connect with buyers and retailers.
This is a contract position based in Nashville, TN, typically lasting 5 days at a time, with opportunities for ongoing work at future events.
Key Responsibilities
Showcase the brand’s latest collections to buyers, retailers, and industry professionals at apparel marts and trade shows.
Engage with potential customers to drive sales, negotiate deals, and close orders on‑site.
Represent the brand with confidence, professionalism, and enthusiasm to create a strong market presence.
Build and maintain relationships with buyers and retailers to encourage repeat business.
Stay informed on industry trends and provide feedback to management on sales performance and customer insights.
Event & Trade Show Support
Attend a pre‑show training session to learn about product offerings and sales techniques.
Work collaboratively with the sales team to maximize brand exposure and sales opportunities.
Travel to trade shows and industry events as needed, based on availability.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Fashion, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Sales experience preferred, ideally in the fashion or wholesale industry.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Self‑motivated, confident, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to travel as needed for trade shows and industry events.
$16–$26 per hour.
Paid travel for trade shows and fashion markets.
Hands‑on experience in the fashion industry with opportunities for growth.
Training and development to enhance sales and industry knowledge.
