Job Title: Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician
We are seeking a dedicated Technician to join our team. This role involves analyzing production and finished product samples to ensure quality and safety in a dynamic laboratory and manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Analyze production and finished product samples to check for quality.
Record results and lab activities, including food safety and product quality.
Review data for accuracy and quality/food safety implications.
Communicate with other departments about lab activities, data, product quality, and food safety.
Perform lab testing, plating, and analysis of samples and finished products.
Test acids, flavors, and other physical components of the dairy cultures.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in quality control, chemistry, and laboratory techniques.
Strong knowledge of biology, quality assurance, and microbiology.
Experience in laboratory settings with attention to detail.
Skills in wet chemistry and analytical chemistry.
Data entry proficiency.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
Work Environment Join a small, family-owned business with over 30 employees. Enjoy good benefits and holiday parties. The work environment is deadline-driven, involving both laboratory and manufacturing settings, including coolers and varied temperatures. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 11 AM to 7:30 PM, with overtime and weekends as required.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
