An experienced COTA, enthusiastic about providing functional rehabilitation wherever life happens, whether at home, school, work, or in the community

Responsibilities
Assist patients in exercise, ADLs, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Occupational Therapist
Assist Occupational Therapist in the collection of outcome measures and completion of complex treatment procedures
Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by the Occupational Therapist
Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development
Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided
Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the AOTA Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program
Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification and license to practice in state of application
Minimum of 1 year experience preferred, related to treatment of complex neurological injuries
Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques
Current CPR certification
