Responsibilities Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital is looking for exceptional RNs interested in joining our Labor & Delivery team!

The Labor & Delivery New to Specialty Program is 16 weeks of didactics, hands‑on learning experience and clinical preceptorship.

Program Start Date: March 9th (Externals) & March 16th (Internals)

Application period: January 7 - January 18.

Full Time, Night Shift availability only.

At this time we are not accepting New Grad RNs – this program is for RNs with a minimum of 1 year of experience in an Acute Care Facility.

A Recruiter will reach out to you directly for an interview at the end of January if you meet the minimum qualifications and are selected by the department leadership.

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California is a 120‑bed acute‑care hospital offering the region’s only Pediatric Emergency Services team and the only OB/Emergency Department program with on‑site OB/GYN coverage 24/7. The Childbirth Center is the largest in the region and features family‑friendly private suites. The NICU is operated by Rady Children’s.

Qualifications Minimum essential experience:

One year experience as a Registered Nurse in an Acute Care Facility.

Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.

Successful completion of AAP and AHA NRP course.

ACLS (AHA) Certification.

BLS (AHA) Certification.

BSN Preferred.

AWHONN Fetal Monitoring:

Successful completion of course every two years. AWHONN Basic Fetal Monitoring class within New to Specialty training program. AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring class within 9 months of hire into the program.
