Good Samaritan is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full‑time night and weekend shifts in Duncan, NE.

Job Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long‑term care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The LPN applies nursing principles appropriate to the resident’s age and population, evaluates clinical data, and performs testing and treatments as needed. Responsibilities include assessing residents, administering medications or treatments, documenting interactions, supporting healthcare professionals, and communicating with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team while maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program (Associate degree preferred). • Obtain and maintain an unencumbered LPN license with the state nursing board (or multi‑state licensure privileges). • Complete required annual continuing education units (CEUs) and competency training. • If IV therapy is required, hold a Board‑approved B‑AASPN IV therapy certificate or a North Dakota Board of Nursing‑approved IV therapy course. • Have a minimum of 400 hours of LPN experience or supervised clinical experience across the lifespan.
