The Job As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician you will be part of a fast‑paced front‑line team, delivering gold‑standard care in emergencies. You will handle a wide range of cases, from minor to complex, collaborating with our doctors and team to deliver emotionally intelligent care.

What You’ll Do

Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage through discharge.

Administer medications, IVs, CRIs, transfusions, and other advanced techniques.

Perform CPR and other emergency procedures.

Collect samples, use diagnostics and imaging, and manage anesthesia.

Operate central lines, endoscopy, ultrasound, and other livesaving tools.

Communicate effectively with doctors, staff, and pet parents.

Support the team in a noisy, high‑stress environment while maintaining calm professionalism.

What You Need

High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA accredited program preferred.

Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state of location; VTS in ECC, internal medicine or anesthesia/analgesia is a plus.

1+ years experience in veterinary tech, preferably in emergency or specialty medicine.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with practice management software.

Excellent communication, calm under pressure, strong fine‑motor skills.

Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, kneel, lift up to 25 kg alone and up to 40 kg with assistance.

Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays on rotating or as‑needed basis.
