Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) role located in Cumming, GA. The PACU professional will be responsible for monitoring patients post-surgery, managing pain and administering medications as necessary, assessing patient recovery progress, and ensuring a smooth postoperative experience. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the surgical team, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing compassionate patient care during recovery.
Qualifications
Proficiency in patient monitoring, post-anesthesia care, and pain management
Strong ability in administering medications and managing patient recovery processes
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the surgical team
Detail-oriented approach to maintaining accurate and thorough documentation
Current state RN license and BLS/ACLS certification
At least 1 year of PACU, ICU, or critical care nursing experience is strongly preferred
Compassionate and empathetic patient care skills
