Full‑Time Ed Tech – Morrisson Center School, Scarborough, Maine
Morrison Center School is seeking full‑time educational technicians to support students with autism, physical disabilities, and cognitive challenges through experiential learning, functional life skills, and community integration. We believe every child deserves a supportive path to independence.

Ed Tech II hourly rate $23.50
Ed Tech III hourly rate $25.00
Up to 8 weeks off per year!
64 hours of earned time off for use any calendar year
School breaks and holidays including: Winter Break, February Break, April Break, Independence Week, August/September break, and 14 holidays such as MLK Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day
403(b) retirement plan with employer contributions
Medical, dental, vision coverage
Short‑term/long‑term disability
Year‑round employment, full‑time daytime schedule
Hands‑on training and mentorship
Supportive interdisciplinary team: BCBAs, OTs, PTs, speech therapists, licensed social workers, and special education teachers

Requirements
Ed Tech II: 60+ college credit hours from an accredited institution
Ed Tech III: 90+ college credit hours from an accredited institution
BHP certification training available upon hire
Ability to learn and grow in special education and behavioral support
Ability to be on site in Scarborough, Maine, Monday‑Friday 8 a.m.‑3:30 p.m.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities
Support classroom instruction in individual and group settings
Assist students with daily living skills (feeding, toileting, mobility)
Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking
Foster an organized, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
Participate in ongoing training in BHP, CPR/first aid, and crisis intervention
Communicate with families and team members to support holistic care
