JOB DESCRIPTION We know that great care starts with great clinicians! We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and motivated
Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience working with children, has a strong understanding of developmental/communication milestones, and is passionate about helping children with diverse communication needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct speech and language evaluations, and prepare initial speech reports
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Educate patients and their families on speech and language strategies for improvement
Provide direct therapy in clinic, home, school, and daycare settings
Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and Regional Center case managers
Maintain timely and accurate documentation, progress notes, and billing
Participate in team meetings and professional development
Foster a friendly, positive, safe, and inclusive therapy environment
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
CCC-SLP certification and California state licensure (required)
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel
Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to relationship-based, family-centered care
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in active, play-based therapy
Successful completion of background check, TB test, drug screening, and/or employment eligibility verification
