Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with Saturday rotation or 4×10s.
Responsibilities
Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local and other regulatory requirements.
Assist radiologists with ultrasound‑guided biopsies and procedures if needed.
Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations.
Monitor patient’s well‑being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
Qualifications
Passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situations.
Demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues.
Have a structured work approach, understand complex problems and prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment.
Requirements
Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
Passed SPI exam.
Current ARDMS certifications or ARRT (S).
BLS certification.
