Responsibilities

Support company health and wellness initiatives

Understand and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and company policies

Maintain current national and/or state registration, certification, or license as required

Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgement

Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing

Support continued coaching and training of clerks and/or technicians

Compound medications according to state and other regulations

Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information matches computer records

Support non-dispensing services through various platforms, resources, and applications

Complete all aspects of CLIA-waived screenings in compliance with state and federal law and company policies

Provide additional health and wellness services as allowed by state and regulatory bodies

Comply with and reinforce all sanitation and safety regulations, guidelines, procedures, and programs per company and local, state, and federal health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management

Report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud

Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Must be 18 years of age or older

Ability to handle highly confidential information

Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure

Desired Qualifications

Previous comparable experience

Experience as a pharmacy technician
