Paramedic Instructor

This position is located in Vermont at 40 IDX Drive in South Burlington
The EMS Programs Instructor has primary responsibility for classroom/lab education of the Paramedic students, maintenance of accreditation status, recruitment and selection of students.
Minimum Qualifications
Current Practicing as a Paramedic.
Current certifications in CPR, ACLS and PALS. (Instructor status is beneficial but not required).
Compliant with all federal, state and local regulations, including certification and licensing requirements as required by the discipline.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Desirable Qualifications
Associates, Bachelors, or Masters Degrees preferred
National Registry EMT/Paramedic Certification preferred.
Additional instructor certifications preferred e.g.: Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS), Emergency Pediatric Care (EPC), Geriatric Emergencies for EMS (GEMS), EMS Safety, etc.
Minimum 2 years field experience as EMT/Paramedic with supervisory experience (preferred).
Experience in a training or educational setting desirable.
