Float Phlebotomist
— a role that offers variety and rapid skill growth, working with patients, team members, and various clinics/locations.
Float Incentive:
Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday hours vary between 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.; additional days and hours may be required.
Work Location:
NW Arkansas.
Benefits:
Employees regularly scheduled for 20+ hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO/FTO, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Casual, PRN & part‑time employees scheduled less than 20 hours are eligible for 401(k) only. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO/FTO.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Enter patient information accurately and timely.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (preferred).
One year of previous phlebotomy experience (preferred).
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Minimum age 21 years.
Proven commitment to exceptional customer service.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team.
Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation with clean driving record.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
