Pay Range
NYS Office for People With Developmental Disabilities provided pay range: $141,413.00/yr - $141,413.00/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience).
Duties and Responsibilities As a Licensed Psychologist, you will supervise and/or provide professional psychological services. Duties include:
Clinical leadership
Program management
Psychological services requiring expertise in neuropsychology, child and adolescent psychology, and sex offense treatment
Forensic or court-ordered assessment, treatment, and expert testimony
Specialized assessment (functional, personality, risk, competency, vocational, education)
Design and application of behavioral technology and other specialized psychological interventions
Crisis intervention
Training
Peer review
Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Psychologist.
Additional Comments This title is part of the New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide Program (NY HELPS). Employees hired under NY HELPS are expected to have their permanent non‑competitive employment status converted to permanent competitive status within one year if they are not already in a permanent competitive role. Preference will be given to OPWDD employees impacted by closures.
