Position Summary The RN provides high quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing are to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and infection control, with the goal of discharging the patient with an optimum level of care.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and integrate patient care using the nursing process.
Direct care according to safety standards, risk management, QI, and infection control.
Ensure patients are discharged with an optimum level of care.
Education
Minimum: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Experience Prior clinical experience in the area of expertise preferred.
Required Certification / Licensure / Registration
Registered Nurse – licensed in the State of Florida.
BLS Certification. If applicable: ACLS, Basic EKG.
Additional Qualifications
Preferred: CCRN, TNCC, PALS.
