We are searching for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full‑time position. The individual will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Charge Nurses.

Qualifications:
Associate's in Nursing
1+ years of RN experience in a detox or similar treatment facility environment
State RN license in good standing
Current CPR certification
Detox and Psychiatric Nursing experience required
Experience administering medication orally, subcutaneously, and IM
Ability to recognize signs and symptoms of withdrawal pain and of a critically dangerous medical emergency and respond appropriately
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to respond physically and calmly during a patient emergency
Familiarity with ASAM criteria preferred
Familiarity with JCAHO Standards of Care for Behavioral Health
Electronic Health Record experience
Duties:
Administer prescribed medications as per the medical team.
Make independent decisions within the scope of RN license concerning patient care.
Use sound judgment in informing the Chief Nursing Officer/Charge Nurse and Medical Director of all decisions and how they should be communicated.
Monitor and record all aspects of patient care through the Electronic Health System, including nursing assessments at intake, shift assessments (CIWA, COWS), changes in patient condition, updates on progress, and discharge assessments.
Follow Universal Infections Control Precautions using personal protective equipment.
Reconcile medication at the end of each shift and maintain logs of controlled substances distribution in accordance with regulations.
Ensure proper communication during shift change to maintain high standards of patient care.
