AdventHealth West Florida . As an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in Cardiology, you will be part of the medical care management team for physician practice patients. You may diagnose medical conditions, develop treatment plans, and provide patient care in accordance with the Florida Hospital Physician Group clinical privileges for ARNPs. Depending on the practice, you may also be required to take practice call. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Provide services similar to those of a physician. Examine patients, take medical histories, maintain patient records, identify health risk factors, prescribe medications, make referrals, and otherwise treat health conditions. See patients in the outpatient practice setting. Assist in office procedures with physicians and/or perform minor procedures independently. Education and Experience Required
MSN (Master of Science in Nursing). Minimum of 3 years experience as an RN in the Cardiology setting. Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Direct care provided under the auspices of a supervising MD with required licensing credentials. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required
Valid AHA ACLS certification. Licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida. Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner certification. Continuing education required to maintain licensure.
