The campus in Farmington provides a full continuum of inpatient and medical‑surgical services, intensive care, obstetrics, emergency services and outpatient services including oncology, infusion, wound care and the Huckstep Heart and Lung Center.
Role Purpose Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards of care.
Responsibilities
Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
Educates patients and their families on managing illness or injury, post‑treatment home care needs and medication administration.
Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Participates in professional development.
Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
Maintains a state of alertness required for a safety‑sensitive position.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
Nursing Diploma / Associate's Degree in Nursing.
Experience:
No prior experience necessary.
Supervisor Experience:
No experience required.
Licenses & Certifications:
RN (Registered Nurse).
Preferred Requirements Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
