Is responsible for managing all aspects of a product line within a plant by establishing goals and objectives for the business and managing the assets assigned to the value stream (people and equipment). The Value Stream Manager is also responsible for achieving or exceeding the expected performance levels in the areas of safety performance, customer satisfaction, employee productivity, financial performance, quality performance and work ethic and moral.
Adhere to EH&S policy endorsed by the local management, comply with the legal and other requirements and operational controls established under its EHS Management System (EHSMS), work toward achieving established objectives and targets, and conform to procedures consistent with ISO and OHSAS standards. An employee should report and, if necessary, stop any activity that does not conform to the policy or may injure himself/herself.

Ensures and encourages a safe working environment by promoting safety and environmental compliance with all safety rules and procedures.
Implements and administers the formal manufacturing procedures for the Glasgow facility necessary to meet customer's standards while minimizing costs.

Builds effective teams and provides support as requested by supervisor.
Understands customer requirements and determines how to deploy and manage people, equipment, and tooling to meet those requirements and support the plant objectives.
Identify method improvements to continually improve the process of doing work through a lean operations implementation and thought process.
Responsible for the trouble shooting of production problems and deviations. Consistently monitors and controls the quality of manufactured parts.
Maintains complete and accurate records of manufacturing data.
Communicates and directs resources throughout the value stream to meet daily requirements and strategic initiatives.
Has responsibility to see that all business dealings of the value stream are carried out in accordance with all plant, corporate, local, state, and federal laws and requirements.
Performs capacity analysis as required.
Works with all senior managers to determine, implement and enforce plant rules and policies.
Performs as a valued member of the senior leadership team.
All other responsibilities as assigned.
