Job Description
We are looking for a
Project Manager / Engagement Lead
to oversee a major initiative. This position will be
full‑time
contract
and
remote
with varying onsite to Texas.
What You’ll Do
Overall project management for client initiative
Develop and coordinate project plans, timelines and budgets
Coordinate with stakeholders and teams
Track progress and assist with resolving issues during procurement lifecycles
Develop internal/external communications and messaging
Host weekly status meetings and deliver weekly status reports
Serve as primary Contractor interface with Contract Representatives
What You’ll Need
Required:
5 years project management experience in government procurement
3 years specific experience with Texas state agency IT procurements
Direct experience managing multiple concurrent procurement initiatives
Proficiency with PMI methodologies and DIR Project Delivery Framework
Proven stakeholder management in government environment
Preferred:
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
CTCM (Certified Texas Contract Manager) or CTCD (Certified Texas Contract Developer)
Experience with projects >$10M in total contract value
Prior work with Texas DMV or transportation agencies
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$150,000 to $200,000 annually
The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
